Mixing and Mastering

This service is available for prospecting musicians. Projects can be submitted as individual tracks (WAV files), Pro Tools project folders (supporting up to version 11) and Cubase project folders (up to version 4). Music to be mastered is submitted as a single stereo WAV file. Mixing refers to the process of combining the individual tracks in a recording to come up with a final sound product. Mixing of songs aims to produce a finished audio product that appeals to the listening audience. Mastering on the other hand is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device from where copies will be made. The data storage device is known as the master.

Mixing engineers place instruments and accompaniments accordingly on a stereo spectrum when mixing. This arrangement can be witnessed in a common sound phenomenon, making use of the left and right speakers accordingly.
